Michel Torino winery is located in the heart of Calchaqui Valleys, hometown of Torrontes, Argentina’s only indigenous grape.
Don David Torrontes 2012 is one of the most emblematic wines of Michel Torino. This stunning Torrontes is the best example of how this exotically scented white grape can reach the heights of aromatic perfection. On the nose, find aromas of rose petals and hints of jasmine and orange peel. On the palate, relish its refreshing, bracing acidity with summer peaches and floral fruit.
Once again, it is our great pleasure and pride to continue communicating our excellent results in these world class competitions.
This year the most important competition in Canada and North America celebrates its 30th anniversary. In this edition, El Esteco winery was recognized with 5 Gold medals
Don David, one of the wide range wines El Esteco has in its portfolio, obtained 4 of these 5 medals. Syrah, Tannat and Malbec were some of the varietals which triumphed.
Finally, the other gold medal went to the winery’s insignia wine: Altimus 2010. This is the 4th award the wine obtains this year in world class competitions.
